Question

Hi,

I was diagnosed with Pigmentary Dispersion Syndrome around 12 and I have been doing routine check ups for years to be sure nothing is progressing to a dangerous point.

All my doctors say my eyes are fine and we just continue to monitor them. But I also really want to skydive and my family is concerned I may not be able to with this issue.

Would skydiving effect me at all or am I good to go? Like what’s the risk level here of going skydiving?

Thanks

Thanks for your Question

If you have Pigmentary Dispersion Syndrome with normal intraocular pressure, then there is no problem with skydiving but in case you have high intraocular pressure then you have to know that skydiving might increase the intraocular pressure temporary so you might to adjust your eye drops to control the eye pressure.
